Cristy Auricchio is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Mother of two young boys in Miami, FL. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and occupational therapy from Florida International University. She has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages with a wide range of diagnoses.
Most recently, she launched a new educational and informational service for parents of new babies and toddlers. During this visit, she teaches parents about developmental milestones, plagiocephaly (flat head prevention), play and equipment, and provides home modification recommendations to help facilitate their baby’s development. She listens to your individual questions, discusses preventive measures, and uses her knowledge as a pediatric therapist/child development specialist to educate and empower you on these topics in the comfort of your home.
In addition to this service, she continues to offer traditional pediatric occupational therapy evaluations & interventions. Some of her trainings include: Handwriting Without Tears, SOS approach to feeding, DIR Floortime, Beckman Oral Motor, NDT, behavioral approaches, Torticollis, iLS and more. She also provides continuing education for teachers and staff, along with conducting early screenings at preschools within the community.
We offer a wide range of pediatric occupational therapy services, including in-home and school therapy and postpartum visits. We also offer teletherapy services for those who prefer to receive therapy from the comfort of their own home.
